could be your firewall more than likely it is you might have to manually allow it

try uninstalling and reinstalling

get anti virus and a firewall first lime wire is full of nasties.
I'd just turn your firewall off. there junk anyhow lol
Turn off your firewall or open up limewire and click file and then click connect.
