Ie. 7 error message?

when i downloaded internet exploror 7 when i turn my comp on i get this message all the time SmartBridge Alerts: MotiveSB.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

what does that mean and can i fixe it. My os is windows xp home. thanks

I believe,

"breaks" sbmotive.exe, which is an unessential bit of software from your ISP (usually

Verizon, but also used by others).

You can go into msconfig and disable sbmotive.exe from the list of programs that

start up with your machine without suffering ill effects.

Or, alternatively, if you want Sbmotive.exe to continue to work for some reason,

you could go into

c:\program files\ and find the subdirectory that smartbridge lives in, go into that

directory, and rename psapi.dll to psapi.old. That'll force sbmotive to use the

newer version of psapi.dll in your system32 directory.
